Call for Papers

We invite the submission of high quality original papers of empirical, theoretical, experimental or conceptual work in all areas of Business Administration, Economics and Organizations Management, for possible presentation at the International Conference on Business & Economics of the Hellenic Open University (ICBE - HOU) 2020. Papers submitted for consideration should not have been published elsewhere and should not be under review or submitted for review elsewhere during the duration of consideration. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of originality, importance of contribution, soundness, evaluation, quality of presentation and appropriate comparison to related work. Submission deadline is 1st March 2020.

    Conference participants will have the opportunity to submit their papers to several established journals that will publish peer-reviewed special issues or selections of papers. Journals that have offered the possibility of a special issue devoted to ICBE-HOU 2020 conference papers

    Author Guidelines

    The submitted papers must meet the following requirements:

    • be original,
    • be written in English,
    • the text should be single-spaced; using a 12-point Times New Roman font; employ italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end, and have a maximum length of 30 pages, all inclusive,
    • include a cover page with the following information:
    1. Title
    2. Authors’ full name, affiliation, address, phone number and email-address
    3. Abstract (no more than 200 words)
    4. JEL classification codes.

    If you cannot submit the full version of your paper by the 1st of March 2020, abstract submissions can be accepted as well.
