Title: Evaluation of EU countries' policies addressing the economic impact of the pandemic

Abstract

The pandemic, because of COVID-19, has created an unprecedented health crisis, with thousands of human lives lost all over the world. At the same time, however, it is a challenge for the world, and especially for the European economy, which ten years ago experienced a deep economic crisis and has been trying to recover in recent years.

The outbreak of the crisis, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, led all countries in the world, including European countries, to take measures to contain the pandemic, in order to safeguard public health. In the dilemma, then, of states to safeguard public health or the economy, it was clear that most states rushed to safeguard the fundamental right of people who were ill and then to take measures for the 'sick' economy.

This work seeks to highlight the policies pursued by the EU countries. to address the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
