Title: Tax compliance and tax awareness: Key pillars of support and development of entrepreneurship in our country.

Abstract

In the wider international and Greek literature it has been documented that countries with low levels of tax awareness and compliance have high rates of tax evasion. Tax awareness and compliance therefore have a significant impact on taxpayer behavior and thus on the development of the underlying economy.

Given the importance of both tax awareness and tax compliance, this paper focuses on documenting the importance of these key pillars in supporting and developing entrepreneurship in our country.
