Title: The Greek start-up ecosystem during the crisis and its potential for entering a mature phase of development
Abstract
This is a study of the condition of Greek start-ups relative to the economic condition of the country during the crisis and it aims at serving as a guide to the start-up scene of the country for those involved in this process (entrepreneurs, academia, etc.).
The study begins with explaining our methodology and by using web sources, statistical analysis and empirical conclusions, it attempts to offer a framework for understanding the difficulties Greek start-ups face and the factors of the ecosystem involved in their evaluation
.
Furthermore, a number of accelerators, incubators and cooperative spaces are established as an integral part of the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
We arrive at the conclusion that the Greek start-up ecosystem has a good potential for development in the years to come and we make some proposals for assisting the evaluation and support of these start-ups.
