Title: Greek e-justice

Abstract

The performance of the judicial system compared with European counterparts, according to the "scoreboard on European justice" of the European Commission, is the third worst among the EU member states. Indicatively, the courts still pending at 30.06.2014 995 399 cases and the time to hear civil and commercial disputes primary has increased from 190 in 2010 to 460 days in 2012. It is a stable and timeless request to modernize and upgrade the quality of the justice system, according to the needs of society, economy and citizens.

This thesis focuses on the multidimensional study of ICT use in the Greek e-justice system, based on a series of interviews and analysis of corresponding data using statistical tools, as the personal interview.
