Title: Trends in bibliography of energy and environmental economics
Abstract
In recent years, bibliometric analysis have a special place in scientific research, as important conclusions arise about the trend of scientific research worldwide, and are applied to all scientific disciplines. This paper focuses on the analysis of the scientific literature in the field of Energy and Environmental Economics, as given by the scientific database Scopus. The aim of this work is to record the trends of the leading research in the field of Energy and Environmental Economics and their change over time. More specifically, the number of articles of the literature of Energy and Environmental Economics per year, geographical area, authors, research institution, language and type of article is recorded. Then, the main trends of the scientific research are explored through the analysis of keywords used in the articles, their changes in time and their geographical distribution
