Title: P2P Lenders’ motivations and risks perceptions in cross-border investments

Abstract

This paper examines users’ perceptions of motivations and risks in peer-to-peer lending and how these are related to cross-border activity. We use survey methodology to collect responses to a detailed questionnaire sent to peer-to-peer lending platforms’ users across Europe, allowing us to differentiate between the UK and the rest of the EU.
