Title: BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR INNOVATIVE THEATRE PERFORMANCES DURING THE PANDEMIC

Abstract

Without a doubt, the corona virus crisis has influenced, amongst other aspects of everyday life, our cultural habits and, mostly importantly, the cultural production. Therefore, in a vast number of countries ,internationally, art spaces have sealed their doors for more than one year. Apart from depriving the public from the valuable refuge of culture, there is a number of artists who have been unemployed through this time and who have been relying almost solely on state aids.

In this paper we will examine the case of the theatre during the pandemic period focusing on new productions and the business opportunities born during this period through these new performances.
