Title: Strategies for developing and strengthening Cultural Organizations. Case Study of the Lyceum of Greek Women in Kalamata.

Abstract

Modern cultural organizations today operate in a global environment that is constantly changing at a rapid pace. In order to respond to this highly competitive environment, they need to apply modern methods of strategy, applying good practices and tools for the successful development of human resources. Strategy and Human Resource Management tend to become more and more connected by giving a comparative advantage to cultural organizations. The development of human resources is a key element in building effective organizational performance in cultural organizations and part of their strategy. Cultural organizations now realize that the success of organizational change depends on how they design and implement a strategy for people, enhancing their flexibility in interacting with the outside environment.

The present article contains data from Isidora Thimi’s Thesis, entitled “Strategies for the Development and Strengthening of Cultural Organizations.
