This study examines the operation and governance of the agricultural cooperative "P. S.A.", focusing on members’ perceptions of transparency, participation, accountability, satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The aim is to analyze how governance structures influence members’ attitudes and behavior.

A quantitative approach was adopted using a structured 36-item questionnaire distributed to a convenience sample of (N = 99) active members. The research tool demonstrated excellent internal consistency (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.910). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Spearman correlation coefficients, One-way ANOVA, and Tukey HSD post-hoc tests.

The findings indicate an overall positive assessment of the cooperative’s operation, alongside high levels of member satisfaction and organizational commitment. Inferential analysis revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between member satisfaction and organizational commitment. While governance is perceived as adequate, parametric testing highlighted critical areas for improvement, particularly regarding active democratic participation and comprehensive information sharing.

The study underscores that the quality of governance and member satisfaction are closely associated with organizational commitment and the cooperative’s sustainability. Strengthening transparency, promoting active participation, and modernizing physical infrastructure are vital for the long-term development of agricultural cooperatives in a changing economic environment.
